I had two cats who urinated on my couch, and the smell will not go away. I have tried soap and water, Febreeze, pet odor remover, Lysol, and I even tried using a carpet cleaner on it, but nothing has worked. Do you have any suggestions?

Don't use ammonia - it's an ingredient in urine and the pets will think that's where they're s'posed to go. You could hire an upholstery cleaning company and see if that helps. You could set it outdoors in the sun for a day or two. Carpets and fabric upholstery is notoriously difficult to get smells out of. You may have to retire this one. Next time, consider smooth leather. It's not so absorbent as fabric so if you have pets or kids, it may be a better choice. An even better idea - keep the pets out of that area of the house and confine them to areas with no upholstery (unless it's intended for their use) and hard surface flooring. That way you will have an easier job cleaning up after their messes.

check your local pet store, they sell special stuff for the removal of cat urine, its expensive but works effectively.

My suggestion is to replace your couch & get rid of your cats, so they won't ruin the new couch. You can NEVER get cat urine out of the couch.
