I've been in art every year except this one, since I didn't have enough room in my schedule and I really miss it. So what's a project/hobby I can do at home inside? I don't have much money to go out and buy things. I like to build things, but I'm not sure what to do. I am very creative and love to read and wirte, I just need something new.

What about scrapbooking? I know it can get a little pricey, but if you don't get too fancy with it, you can do it for cheap. You can buy a starter kit that comes with everything you need. Just be creative with cutting the paper to make fun pages and designs. I was in a similar situation one year in school someone bought me a scrapbooking kit for Christmas. My first project was to make a page or 2 for every school year and put on there the event that highlighted the month. It turned out really cute. Maybe you could do something similar. Good luck!

If you like sewing ive got a great and inexpensive project. Especially with summer right around the corner. My friend and I went to Wal-mart last year and bought some swim-wear with a simple floral print. Cut the lining out of the inside of the suit and then highlighted it by using beads of the same (or close to the same) color of the suit. As we got better we thought of more ways to add variation and color. Once we were finished we just sewed the liner of the suit back on and you could never even tell they were home-made. The swim wear at Wal-mart was under 15 bucks and the beads were less than $5. I was offered $45 to make one for another friend! They were fun to make and we were making money, it turned out to be an awesome way to make a little extra spending cash for summer!

Try origami. All it takes is plain paper, which cost next to nothing. After your skills improve, you can purchase the origami paper at your local craft store. Here's a good site.

How about a plastic model car. You can paint it any color you want and if you are very skillful you can add fine detailing.
