This is so much fun! Buy a 2 liter of Diet Coke (it has to be diet coke); don't shake it up. Quickly add two peppermint (must be peppermint) mentos and it will make a tall fountain. For more fun, add four and see if you can do it before it "explodes". My kids love to do this and it's harmless. Put it on the grass and stay away from houses, vehicles or sidewalks (the sugar will make it sticky or ruin the finish).

i don't remember the scientific principles at work here, so go to the Mythbusters website to find out. I know it has to do with caffeine, carbonation, and the coating on the Mentos. Have a good time.

The way you make coke burst or blow up is if you shake it really good, and unscrew the top only a little. Step away from the coke, and it will blow the bottle cap off!!

yes one way by just simply shaking if a few secs and then open the can or bottle open it and it will spill out now other way is put a menthol tablet in a bottle recommend you do this outside makes a huge mess and it will shoot up to 6 ft have fun

I heard it has to be diet coke,for it to blow up. Because if you put Mementos in normal coke it won't really work. That's what i read.
