Do you know how to find the area of a rectangle?
Length * width (and if both are in cm, you get cm^2)
Now, add depth, what do you think you do now to get volume?
Length * width * height (and the units become cm^3)
It doesn't matter which side you choose to be the width, length, or height.

Well volume of a rectangle is measured by multiplying the lenth, width, and height together.
V= L x W x H
V= (10.5) x (6.5) x (8.5)
V= 580.125
Rounded down the volume of the rectangle is about 580cm3.

you multiply each of the sides together. for example, to find the area you would multiply lenght by the width. (A=l x w) well you want the cubic area, so it makes sense that you would multipy not only by length and width but by height as well.
so to answer your question, it would be 10.5 x 6.5 x 8.5 = 580.125 cm^3

V = L x W x H (Length x Width x Height)
Plug it in and calculate for yourself,... (watch your units!)
-----
By the way:
A rectangle has NO volume,.. It DOES "have" AREA
It's the rectangular SOLID that "has" a VOLUME.
