Thing 1 : Thing 2 as Thing 3: Thing 4
Thing 1 and 2 must have the same relationship as Thing 3 and 4
If Thing 1 and 2 are Opposites then Thing 3 and 4 must be as well.
Example:
Human : Chicken as Chicken : Seed
The Human eats the chicken,
The Chicken eats the seed.

First you must understand what an analogy is before you can write them. If you knew what the word ment then you would have no problem writing. Try www.webster.com Seriously, you're in HS you should know what the word means and how to write them...if you don't you need not to be in HS and go back to grade school.

you could just think of how two things go together or are complete opposites. and based on what you choose then you can make the answer the same way either the same/different.
like
peanut butter is to jelly as butter is to toast
etc.
thats how they told me to teach it to little kids.
good luck!
