I love Yahoo Answers...it's a great website...OK, we agree on that... but you know what bothers me? I'll enlighten you...I can't stand these ppl that ask these questions and instead to having an open mind to the answers, they are just looking for someone to agree with them...what do you think?

in general, whenever someone gives you grief for your opinion (so long as it's a reasonable one) all they are seeking is your attention, finding a way to 'push your buttons.'
if you can maintain your emotions and not lower yourself to their juvenile level of behavior you have mastered both yourself, and your enemy.
due to the efforts of those despicable characters i encounter here i have found a far deeper sense of inner peace in my ability to ignore the ignorant. i even went so far as to thank someone who sought to abuse me. i found that laughable, and i LOOOOOVE to laugh!

i agree with you. do you think im the best answer? no? okay, how about an actual answer?
while i do agree with you, i think the reason people get so upset when someone disagrees with them is because they are spoiled. there are tons of people who always 'need' to get their way, and when they dont, they thow a hissy fit and retaliate with anger. this bothers me to no end..

Well that's the way it is sometimes. Some people aren't interested in other people's point of view. They just want people to agree with them to affirm their own particular set of beliefs.

Well it depends I have gotten best answer when I expressed my own opinion on a matter and it was kind of opposite of what the writer thought about.

i agree....everyone is entitled to their own opinion but also, sometimes when you ask a question people just give these remarks just to be hurtful, which is something different but i completely understand what u are talking about

Yes...I've answered questions -NOT in p/s - where someone chose my answer as BEST ANSWER just so they could be rude and obnoxious on a personal level...... =(
What can you do??
I've become quite wary about which questions I answer now...
