okay so we are doing this project in school. rube goldberg?
and so we have to create a rube goldberg with 5 SIMPLE MACHINES and 8 STEPS. it has to hit a button.
please im desperate
i have tried searching but nothing works!

screw
pulley
lever
gear
wheel and axle
wedge
but only five
with 8 stepss
not too complicated
it has to hit the an EASY BUTTON

my mistake it has to hit the easy button at the end
that is the goal of the rube goldberg machine.

ohh I did that last year.
should the machines be seperate or all combined? What do you want it to accomplish?
Asumming it is all seperate:
1st Machine:
1: Push Button and small thing helps start a lacross ball.
2: Lacross Ball starts rolling down piece of wood
3: Rubber band attached to end has laucher with tennis ball. Gets Wind up.
4: Lacross ball hits launcher and begins launching.
5: Tennis ball goes through hold in a spare piece of wood
6: Tennis Ball then drops into bucket.
7: Tennis ball pushes the easy button and rings a bell underneath it making it te end of the run
Sorry I could only do 7 steps.

Well, think about the simple machines for a minute. Lever, pulley, wheel and axle, screw, inclined plane, and the wedge.
A ball rolls down an inclined plane, into a container attached to a pulley system. The container with the weight in it can fall onto a lever. The lever can turn a wheel...
Just use your imagination. I'm assuming that you will have to use some of the simple machines more than once for it to have 8 steps. Just link them together.

well im offley sorry but i dont under stand your question.just stick with it and youll get it dont worry.im only in midlel school so i dont know too much but one step could be to test it out and then adjust any mistakes.another thing you could do is gather all the info.i feel like im going to cry because i cant help you.i am just so totaly sorry mam. i hope with my life you can finish this expirement
