It's from my stupid ski boots. I have this bruise under my toenail, how do I get rid off it?! I've been letting it heal for about 4 weeks, and its still there! It's brownish purple, and I would love for it to be gone for spring break.

A bruised toenail will ususally heal in 4-8 weeks depending on how you take care of it, dont wear shoes, heels, etc. that will put strain or pressure on the toenail, its best to wear looser shoes or sandals if you want it to heal faster. If it doesnt heal by spring break, you can just pain your toenails a solid color, it will hide it, and you dont have to worry about the appearance of it.

The easiest way of removing blood from under a toenail is to remove it using a syringe or to have a small hole placed directly on to the toenail, allowing the blood to drain

I had one from a water bottle falling on my toe. It took a full year to grow out. Just wear toenail polish on spring break.

It is likely (not definite) that your toe nail will actually fall off. This usually happens when a finger/toe is bruised under the nail. But a new one should grow back if it's not badly infected.

it will get better faster if you care less about really lame things like how you look with a bruised toenail.

It will heal on it's own, but it will take long because it is under your nail.
