It depends on whether you are driving or flying. If you are flying you need to give the baby a bottle, pacifier or breastfeed during take-off and landing to prevent pressure in their ears. I have found that Similisan natural earache drops work great for this too. Take "Silent" toys, like soft books, dolls, soft rattles. If you don't have one already, get a Snugli, or something similar so you can hold them during the flight and you don't tire your arms out.

we drove from GA to Erie,PA when my daughter was that age. She slept the whole time just about! She only woke up for bottles. We did buy a travel swing to take with us....best $35 I ever spent! She didnt like sleeping in the pack 'n play so we put her in the swing(she LOVED her big swing) and she slept all night. We made the trip in 14 hours, drove straight thru. Good Luck!

Hey!I live in Knoxville.I don't know where your coming from but if you have to do it your going to have to drive & most of the time they'll sleep.I actually figured out that my kids would sleep more when it was sunny outside than driving at night.Safe driving! :P
