With each person it's different, but here's what I did:

15-20 minutes at a time. Review your study notes at the end of each class. Every day when you go to school, get there about 15 minutes early. Study. When school's over, study another 15. Before you go to bed, 15 minutes, etc, etc. I found that studying less intensely but more often was what kept the information in my mind overall longer and prevented the fidgety feeling that comes from cram study sessions. Most importantly, make sure that whatever you try works for you. Good luck.

Take it from someone who has a Master Degree/

Shutoff your phone.
Find a quiet place.
Make sure you are prepared (books, online resources)
Stop making excuses
Bring a Ipod or some device that plays easy going music (Not RAP or Hard Rock). I listen to lite Jazz or New Age.
Stop making excuses

Start studying!!

BTW, you should do this days before your exam - NOT the night before.

Schedule times to study. Every night devote 1 - 3 hours with small 5 minute breaks in between. Make sure you don't cram!
