I'm Italian so I hope Italy will qualify.
Gli Azzurri had an awful start, Lithuania draw and France loss, but now are doing well. You attached the schedule, so it's easy to spot it out how Ukraine and France will have two direct match and Scotland has played a game more than the opponents. And, if the ranking should be close, in the last game Italy has Faer Oer match. So I guess they can do it.

it would be very funny, fortunately enough for Italy fans, they are already qualified for the 2008 world cup. The Host country and the defending champion are the only 2 teams that are guaranteed a spot in the upcoming world cup. However, they still play the qualifying matches, so they can tune up for the world cup. As for the Euro yeah, they win the World Cup but fail to qualify for the euro, that's tough luck.

Too bad for you thats not going to become a reality! Italy will definitely qualify, there are still many matches to be played. The victory of today is just going to keep on repeating for Italy through out their next matches.

Italy had a rough start in the qualifications.Now they r at their best.
Well at least they won Scotland unlike France.

It is always funny when one of the big name teams misses the playoffs or fails to qualify for an event... unless it is YOUR team!
That said, it is not over until the fat lady sings. I wouldn't count out Italy just yet.

I think they wil make it, they play the Ukraine and Scotland again and I think you know as well as I do that they will beat them. The France game will be a must see game.
Even if they didn't make it, don't forget who knocked the socceroos out of the WC.
