People who are committing crimes tend not to think about getting caught. It's either a 'heat of the moment' act or they've convinced themselves that they'll get away with it.
When you look at crime rates in neighboring states with similar socio-economics, the rates will be quite similar. Capital punishment is not a deterrent.
It's vengence and nothing more.

How about those of you who are against executions, you pay the tab for keeping them incarcerated for life? Didn't think so. Let us know how you feel if someone you love is decapitated, or tortured then killed, if you want this trash to go on living at your expense.

if a man wants to kill the man who has been knobbing his wife then dying by lethal injection is the last thing on your mind
Please remember the irony of 'death row', if killing the first person who killed someone didn't stop murders, NOTHING will.

All you gotta do is look to America and see how many people they put to death. It does not stop people from killing. Im sure most of them think they will get away with it.

It may not, but it would get rid of some. The guy who said state sponsored killing is murder is crazy. Society has a duty to get rid of the riff raff.

No, it would just end up killing some nasty people and some innocent people.
If murder's wrong, then to be honest so is state sponsored killing.
