Im not sure if u are speaking of someone in particular or if you are over generalizing. I'm a young female and i don't put up with any type of abuse, whether it be physical, verbal or emotional. I just dont tolerate it at all. I treat others with repsect and demand it in return, if i dont get it & you cross the line with me, i'll warn u once....if u do it again, the friendship,relationship, whatever it may be is a done deal. I get this from both of my parents who raised me to be respectful to others and to have a great deal of SELF respect. Without this, you'll pretty much put up with anything. That may be what's wrong with many young people today. But not all of us are naieve.

Young Females deal with so much abuse because they don't know if it is wrong. There are just naive and they don' tunderstand the world. So, they deal with what is present to them. Some don't speak out because they are scared.

Because they are young, naive, and stupid. After a few more years of getting knocked around by jerks, they'll come to their senses.
