Interestingly national Geographic says that it is not actually one island but rather a number of smaller islands that are covered in an icecap.

Greenland is the worlds largest island covered in ice and snow. It is part of the nation of Denmark. What grade are you in what is the homework paper called i think we may do the same home work but you are behind my class. Ask me if you need any help i have been in the National Geographic Geography Bee. It was by chance and I didn't think i was that good but i did ok. Dont worry i am not some geek or nerd

I'm not sure where the arcitic is,but I suggest you get a map of the world and perhaps,with any luck,you can find the continent you live on as well as your answer.
