I'm only 5 weeks pregnant and I notice it in my breasts, does anyone know when I can expect my belly to begin to look pregnant. Is there any safe excersises to prevent my stomach from getting too big? My first pregnancy I was really really big.

Everyone is different. There is no way to tell when you will start showing or how large you will get. You can eat right and do light exercises. That doesn't mean you will not be as big, but at least you will be healthy.

I am 11 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. My first child I did not show until I was about 4 months along, but this one I was showing in my belly by 7 weeks. I am a very small person so I thought this to be odd but the doctor said its normal. Each person is different just go with the flow. As far as the preventing yourself from getting too big, eat healthy and exercise regularly ( walking and yoga no weightlifting ) and you should be fine. good luck and congrats!

Every female's body is different and every single pregnancy is different so there is no way to tell in advance when you will start to show. Most pregnancy start to show at about three months (12 weeks). It also depends on your weight and the shape of your body. Do light exercises to stay fit but I doubt there are exercises to prevent your belly's growth. Pregnant bellies are cute, so show it off!

Supposedly you show a lot sooner with your second pregnancy, at least that's what I'm told. I don't know what to tell you about your stomach getting bigger-because we both know that there's no preventing it. But if you want to keep in shape then go swimming, do some yoga [they offer classes for pregnant women now, contact your local yoga studio] or just go for walks. You can stay lean and just enjoy your little round belly! Congratulations!

Definitely doing light excercizing throughout your pregnancy is a good idea. Women who stay active generally have easier labors.
I remember with my second I didn't show quite as early, maybe because I had enough residual weight from my first that I had a little more "padding". (I was 100 pounds when I got preg. with my first so the little bit of weight showed immediately.) But I was definitely too big for my jeans by 12-15 weeks!
