it ought to probably be basically a factor, or perhaps she replaced into injured or extremely scared via something interior the backyard some days in the past. i could attempt perhaps getting a toy or something that she likes and throwing it outdoors the door for her to chase. whilst she brings it back, repeat, yet this time step interior the door (bypass away it open). try this some circumstances, throwing and having her retrieve it. That way she gets use to going outdoors with out you. If the backyard is thoroughly fenced in, you are going to be able to additionally attempt in simple terms placing her outdoors with a toy and a few water and leaving her for a couple of minutes. no longer very long in the beginning up, yet improve the quantity over the unfold of each week or so. That way she gets used to going out and being on my own. If she is 3 years previous, she might experience deserted or think of which you will bypass away her. in simple terms reassure her and coach her to be on my own for a couple of minutes at a time so she gets her self belief up. stable success!

I scared me.
I used to live out in the country and when it wasn't DST, sometimes I'd have to go out to the pen and feed the dogs in the dark (we bred labradors and had a large pen that we kept them in). I'd hate it. I didn't even like to carry a flashlight because I didn't want to draw attention to myself from whatever type of coyote might have been out there. I'd dwell on this too much and I'd begin to feel my heart rate increase, which would only scare me more.
So, for me, it wasn't really that the dark scared me, it was the lack of daylight and knowing that something might be able to see me, but that I might not be able to see it.

That a guy in a ski mask would come up to me with a knife and slit my throat.
I spent lots of time watching TV so I get that kind of stuff in my mind..but if I go outside in the dark, it's usually because of a friend =)

I always thought a ghost or monster was going to get me, and when I would walk up the stairs in the dark that would always freak me out because I would think there was something behind me so I would run.

Nothing.
And by this I mean that there wasn't anything out there to scare me, but I would imagine all kinds of things being out there.
It was the same for swimming in lakes and oceans.
The fear was not what was out there, but rather what I thought MIGHT be out there. In essence, the dark was an allegory for death in that my fear was of the unknown.

I would be afraid of seeing a ghost or something, or scared of something like being abducted by aliens lol. I was always afraid of stuff like that because it seemed to only happen at night on tv.The dark still pisses me off now and I'm 17, though not because of alien abduction lol.

What we put there from our own imagination—just like the monsters we created under the bed and in the closet (and in our dreams)..
