How do I get my foot in the door? Is there alot of traveling involved? What type of degree do you need?

The easiest answer to getting hired by them is to have the experience they want plus the character, chemistry with their group and self-confidence they desire.

For any of the big accounting firms (D&T, E&Y, etc.), you typically need a bachelor's in finance. And MBA wouldn't hurt either.

Send them a resume that is tailored to a consulting job.

Depends on what function you are performing for them - auditing in particular is a high-travel specialty, but the nature of consulting is that you typically travel to where the clients are.
