What does this mean?.. why did it decrease speed.. I have a ATI RADEON x1300 PRO AGP 8x card.. Am i still gettin my 2.4GHz but it just says 1.8 or is it really currently onli runnin at 1.8.. Thankss in advance.

Installing a new video card would not slow down the internal speed of your CPU.
If anything it will help it perform better.
Many AMD products slow down the internal speed when not required.

Max out the tasks on your PC & check again...it should weel say 2.4 (or close).

The new program and Software you've installed is more power robbing and your sys is now clocking at 1.8. Increasing your RAM may help.
