LOL You better check the name on this one. Chalupas are a kind of Mexican food (and to the dude that said Taco Bell as his source, what they sell there are NOT chalupas - not even a good imitation of one!).

Maybe you meant chupacabra - the "Mexican Goatsucker". No, wait, these are mythological, sort of a goat and/or cow "vampire". Wouldn't be a good pet anyway.

I sure hope you meant chinchilla. They can be a good pet, but some are more of biters than others. Get to know a couple before you choose one so you get one that doesn't mind being held. They need a lot of room in their cages and like height so they can jump from perch to perch. Also like being let out, but do this in a closed room that you can "chinchilla-proof" - they get into everything if you give them a chance.

And for Pete's sake, go get something to eat!

I'd say a Chalupa would make a great pet... if you don't plan on eating it first... like the answer above just stated.. hehehe. Now if you meant Chinchilla... you can look them up at www.chinchillas-chinchillas.com
Hope that helps!

Chalupas are food. Do you mean chihuahua? Yes they make good pets, but they bark a lot and they are quite skiddish.
