Am I the only person that is upset with the state of wrestling? Who is to blame? Is it because there is no real competion for the WWE? Why are things so bad? Or do you think things are not that bad?

The state of pro wrestling is not in great shape. You can blame WWE's problems on 3 people: Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon Levesque, and John Laurinatis. These three people dictate who and what is seen on WWE programming. The problem with WWE is that Vince has the final say in creative and plays politics. He can also be very stubborn and not open to pushing younger wrestlers. Another problem with WWE is that the wrestlers they usually recruit have little to no wrestling backround. Right now they do not have competition.

As far as TNA their creative problems partially are a result of Dixie Carter, Dutch Mantell and Jeff Jarrett. Dixie really has no experience in wrestling and is trying to learn on the job. Jarrett has the most experience in the business and has the final say of what goes on most of the time. Mantell is the lead booker and puts the storylines into effect. Vince Russo has a say in creative and could be responsible for some of the gimmick matches. TNA really has not had a problem pushing younger wrestlers up until now. The accquisitions of Kurt Angle and Sting have only helped the company and they should be competing with WWE in a couple of years. The problem is they need a two hour timeslot and more exposure.

Starting with the last questions, Yes things are that Bad no competition means less effort in your work, just a few years ago when WCW and ECW were on the block vince had to dish out something very good entertainment to make sure his show was the best show on TV... the worst thing ever happening to the wrestling business was WCW and the Old ECW closing shop.

I think you are right. WWE was getting great when they had to look out for WCW and ECW. Before that they were great when they had to worry about NWA and AWA. If TNA can get a little bigger things could start getting good again. They have just gotten really stale and complacent. When you have Ruso with TNA ripping off old WWF angles. Vinnie Mac is gonna have no choice but to shake things up.

I don't watch it that much anymore. WCW and WWF were both doing good until they took control of WCW away from Bishoff. Then they went south. WWF had to change their name and logos pissing off a lot of fans. There is no one that the fans stand behind as firmly as hogan, austin, or hart. Just a lot of halfassed tallent that shouldn't have ever gone to the main event. The classic stars don't want to work full time anymore. And they arn't being replaced by good stars. ECW is to tame now, Michel Cole and the Coach. To many people don't like Cena. Vince isn't as involved as he used to be. The writing isn't as good. Stone Cold and the Rock arn't wresling.

But sometimes they do some pretty good stuff. Like last years Summerslam. Hogan vs Orton, Foley vs Flair (i quit), and DX vs the Mcmans.

As long as billions of nuts like me continue to watch Vince will do his thing. The only way to make it better is to get some real competion out there because there is no way you will get enough people to go against it to make a change.

Things definitely have changed. Maybe it's because Ultimate Fighting has become so popular.
