The 9/11 event made me aware that we aren't as secure as we would like to think we are.It also made me aware just how much anger and hate others have for us.We aren't as good a nation as we would like to believe.
The death of my mother in law made me aware just how precious life is all of life. Each and every breath taken and expelled, each and every moment filled or unfulfilled. And that life is indeed precious and that we each of us make a difference to others in our own way.
And pulling a drunk driver from the window of his car.He hit a tree across the street from our old apt's.I'm a small woman all of 5'4 and 100 lbs but the fear and worry about his life I managed to yank him out of his driver side window w/o hubby's help. That taught me that drunk driving effects even strangers and made me more aware of my own driving.

Wow, these just popped into my head right away.
3.) Dunno how long ago, I walked into kindergarden. (Start of my education)
2.) Five years ago, my parents got into a huge fight because my mom was cheating on him with this other guy and my dad drove away and had an accident. (Later on I found out he wasn't my bio dad, which explained why he hated me)
1.) Four years ago, I met my real dad and he was great. He let me do whatever I wanted and intro'd me to alcohol and his friends. One of them ended up dragging me into his house one night. He did what he wanted and never got punished for it. It changed my life most of all because because of what he did, I realized how little my parents actually cared for me. (My mom was getting high in the bathroom. My dad was still drinking outside with his other friends.)
Amazing how no one within a range of twenty feet can hear you screaming.

The 3 children, I had....
I wasn't going to kill them, to keep my life the way it was....
So, I gave birth, 3 times and raised those 3 kids to adulthood and now there's more to life, than if I had NOT have had them.
Thanks for the question!
