Thats totally depends on the brand of the bottled water.
Most of the local brands claim that the water bottled comes from some mountainous regions. But honestly, we cant never know exactly where it comes from.

Well there are those brands that come from springs and mountains and such but many brands are simply tap water that is purified a bit more and maybe some minerals are added. I think Aquifina uses lake michigan water.

i once heard that it was like they say, the tap..... so no need to go out and get those expensive name water, ALL the same... but then i don't drink from bottled water unless necessary. i bring my own water, boiled thank you.
