Cable from router will only connect to ethernet port but my PC has only USB port

Your easies option would be to go to the local computer store and buy an inexpensive NIC card.

This is a PCI network card. All you have to do is open the case install the card run the CD it comes with and your away.

The shop may install it for you it not a big job.

If you wish to use Ethernet then you need to have an ethernet port on your pc.You can get a reasonable price network card for this purpose.Otherwise if you wish to use the Wireless facility of the netgear router you have been supplied by Sky its simple,use the cd you got with the router..stick it in the cd drive and load it..follow the on screen instructions.Then click on the wireless symbol on the bottom of the screen tap in your SSID and Encryption Key as defined on the card from Sky.

you'll have to either buy a ethernet board for your pc or a wireless connection board sorry

1. you need to install NIC in your pc.
or 2. better to use eth to usb converter
or 3. fix wireless nic card
