Humans DID NOT evolve from monkeys. If monkeys had evolved into humans, there would be no more monkeys left. An organism evolves because it needs to, it is necessary for survival. So if a monkeys evolved into humans, it would be because monkeys couldn't survive in there current stage of evolution. Obviously this is not the case, because monkeys are still alive today.

There are many theoriess on how humans came to be what they are today. One of the more common and most accepted theorie is homosapiens (humans) and primates (monkeys) evolved from a common ancestor, a simpler organism that is similar to one another. There is no solid proof for this theory, but it is widely viewed as one of the most credible theories of evolution.

As for God creating humans, that up to you and your religion. Science and religion never really got along too well, but what you want to believe is up to you.

Neither, humans evolved from lower living things, not monkeys. At one phase of evolution very early humans and very early apes may have had the same ancester.
The two species parted ways. The monkeys and apes evolved alone one line, humans along another. At no time did monkeys evolve into humans.
As for God, that's religious superstition.

well, different people will answer that question in different ways. Very religious people that believe in creationism will say that humans were created by god. People that buy into the theory of evolution (I personally do) will tell you otherwise. It is not perfectly correct to say that humans came from monkeys because we did not one day just go from monkeys to humans. Humans are the products of many millions of years of evolution from tiny single-celled organisms to the complex being that we are today

While evolution is a theory, there is very very strong evidence in support of evolution and it is a widely accepted scientific theory.

Since this is in the biology category, i will answer with a biological approach. We DID NOT EVOLVE FROM MONKEYS!!! That's a very common misconception. We evolved from early "human like creatures"

It is disrespectful to spell God with a lower case g. You should not insult God.

Science shows that the way God developed humans was by the evolution of lower primates (not monkeys).

That is the view approved by most churches, including the Catholic church and many other churches. Perhaps you should spend some time in church and you would learn more about it.

I "think" humans and monkeys came from a common ancestor.

Others will tell you they "believe" god created both.

I'm a thinking person!

All is divine and inter-related. Monkeys are more like our cousins than ancestors. There most likely was a common beginning and they branched of in the tree dwelling niche and we branched off in the plains living direction.

Ask yourself if George Bush bears a greater resemblance to Bungo the Naughty Monkey, or Jesus Christ....'nuff said?
