Of course it should read "Oversized Load." Nevertheless, no one really cares because the meaning is understood. There are many examples:

Ice Tea should be Iced Tea
15 Items or Less aisle should be 15 Items or Fewer
etc.

Well the load is currently being transported. So since it's a present action, you could say it's an oversize load. Besides, who really give a f@ck?
