My brother turned 13 today and he has been shaving for awhile. Even though he shaves he still looks like a gorilla. I think kids grow up faster these days. He is 13, 6'1 and wheres a size 13 shoe. Can you believe? LOL

Some boys develop faster then others, he just started puberty earlier then you and his testosterone level has increased possibly from his diet. Don't pick on him just help him deal with the changes he will go through and be a good big brother as he will have lots to deal with before he is done growing as you well know.

Studies are showing that our diet has changed the growth rate for most Americans.
We're taller and maturing (at least physically) faster than our parents.

Your brother probably lucked out with the hormones.
My two younger brothers were early shavers, too!

Every child develops differently. My husband started shaving around 14 years old, but his best friend couldn't grow anything past peach fuzz until he was 20.

Okay, that's fine. He just hit that stage of puberty earlier on in life than you did. That's perfectly fine! Chill, man, it's those hormones. Feel lucky that you didn't have to bother with shaving for that many more years. =]

So what? It's a result of puberty. or hormones
Girls start puberty anywhere from 9 to 17.

Hes either doing it to be "cool" or hes developing faster. Everyones different, and its perfectly normal.

He probably started puberty early, or he just wants to be 'cool' so he shaves.
