My gift of a baby rooster thinks he's a dog. Odd he fallows me everywhere and chases me.
Is this normal for a pet chick?

my whole life i had a roster and he was very protective of me he would spear at my dogs and atack my brothers they are protective if they are pets he loves you be happy u have a unusual pet that is protective over you

He follows you like you are his mom. He will get over it soon. Trust me I have 3 roosters that I have raised since they were 3 seconds old. Unfortunatley their mom died last week.

Very, very normal. He just sees you as his mother and protector. Happens to me every year. Mine even jump up into my lap when I sit or onto my shoulder.

yes it is normal he thinks your his mummy, mine do that it is funny when you have a long line of about 10 of them lol
