Nobody complains when David Beckham pulls in $250 million but when a CEO does it we consider it excessive. Most CEO can do well in the private sector and not have to take S**t from people like you. Instead their lending there expertise to public companies, and the companies pay what it takes to attract them. Supply and demand, its economics 101.
