Usually by giving the customer a choice, where each choice would lead to a "yes" answer for the sale. Like: would you prefer delivery on Tuesday or Saturday for this item? Or: will you be taking the blue or the grey one today?

Put a pen down on the signature line of the contract and shut up. Do not say anything unless the customer raises a ? Answer it and shut up. Do not blow the sale with idle chit chat.

They don't ask for the sale, they push it on you until you buy it. I call them stalkers when they continue to pester you with phone calls on if your still interested in their product.

In the most annoying ways possible, such as "What can I do to put you in this car today?" (annoying) or "How can anyone pass up an offer like this?" (both annoying and insulting)
