The existence of regulated prostitution generally implies that prostitution is illegal outside of the regulated context.
For example, Nevada has laws against engaging in prostitution outside of licensed brothels, against encouraging others to become prostitutes, and against living off the proceeds of a prostitute. All of these behaviors are quite common, however.
Legalized prostitution hasn't stopped pimping and human trafficking in places where prostitution is regulated. Despite prostitution being legal, many prostitutes are illegal aliens in the countries where they work and cannot benefit from the positive aspects of regulated prostitution. And the profit motives of human traffickers don't disappear with legalized prostitution.

There are a few counties in Nevada that still have legal prostitution.

The only one that I know of for sure is Reno Nevada. They're famous for the Bunny Ranch where you can get just about anything for the right price. Even sleep with a porn star. Also the girls are licenedand checked medically on a regular basis in accordance with the law.

Anywhere they have escort services or strip clubs ..it maybe illegal to be listed as prostitution, so they just change the name of the business...it is what the liberals call political correctness , after all prostitute , hooker , and whore are such harsh words...

Parts of Nevada, but not all of it. (Not legal in Las Vegas) I don't think there are any other states where it is legal.
