Me thinks there is a section to ask homework questions,,

Stockholders are the owners of the Corporations whose stocks they own and has voting rights. They can change the management by voting and influence the decision making inside a corporation when they deem the time has come to do it.
Financial statements are the score card of annual performance of a company. Stock holders can check out this and find out what the Management they appoint were upto in the year that passed by, whether they utilized the asset properly, whether the mission was on course, whether the vision was reached or whether their value were maintained or raised etc;.
