Hun, things are fine. Think about all the wonderful changes going on right now. He/she needs more room to grow. your pelvic is laxing from hormones and it makes you feel sore. Ligaments are stretching and full of hormones. Your cervix is changing shape and getting thicker. Blood and water are filling around your inner pelvic.

Cramps are not a good sign, anyone will tell you that that is dangerous. With that said, I have had cramps and bled a little with 2 very normal and healthy pregnancies, and everyone I talked to tells me that they got the cramps and the"gooey feeling" like your period was about to just fall out. I know its scary, but remember that its probably okay, and just drink water and put your feet up, that should help. I had it all thru my first trimesters and it stopped a little with my second, and picked right back up in my 3rd, and then it turned into labor, and out came a perfect baby. Thats what labor feels like. You are practicing! Good luck!

It's probably round ligament pain. Very similar to period cramps. Happens to me when I get up quickly or roll over in bed. They only last a few seconds but are bothersome. Round ligament pain is the result of the stretching that is taking place in your uterus. Congrats on your pregnancy!!! (And you'll get to know that aches and pains are really common in pregnancy) Unless the cramps are severe or accompanied by spotting/bleeding, I wouldn't worry too much.

the period cramps are very normal..and so are the headaches...you are getting the cramps b.c your uterus is used to being the size of a lemon and now it has to make room for a baby ..so it is stretching to do so..and the headaches are for the increased blood flow for both you and the baby....just take some regular strength tylenol for both...and you will feel ok..the cramps will last until about the begining of your second trimester..and then one every now and then...good luck and congrats..

yes, my Dr says cramps are normal as long as you arent bleeding. I get headaches almost daily too and she said it was from the hormone surge and blood vessels dialating! hang in there, it gets better :) Congrats and good luck!

well where are you pains...lower abdomen are towards your pelvic bone is normal however if your having cramping pains towards the middle that isn't good and my doctor asks me every time i see him about headaches so those could be a concern if they are very frequent and severe
