Gears of War, hands down. They just have to make sure that they don't forget anything, because people WILL know.

Probably none of them. There has never been a good movie based on a video game. But I think Metroid would be easier to write a script for. Mainly because it would be difficult for Halo to have a script (Since Halo 3 is supposed to be the END of it, and if they made Halo 1/2 into a movie, it'd be lame since we already know what happens) Gears of War...I don't know. That game had a pretty boring storyline, but great movies have been made from less. (See: Pirates of the Caribbean, based on an animatronic pirate theme ride) It all really depends on the script and producer/director/cast/funding. Not so much the gaming franchise.

Either Halo or Gears of War forget Metroid. Halo and Gears of War have been top ranked games for weeks and people apreciate them alot. Both would be great movies

Metroid if it has Zero Suit Samus. I want to see them find an actress that would look good in that body suit.
If no Zero Suit Samus, then who cares. Movies based on video games have always sucked, and it will continue to suck. Mario Bros, Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Tomb Raider, House of the Dead, Blood Rayne, Alone in the Dark, and pretty much anything that will be directed by Uwe Boll.

definatly gears of war because halo the aliens look like midgets and in metroid i dont even kno but gears has the best storyline

I would go with either Halo or Gears of War because they have alien invasion or in GoW an alien rising underground. Halo would make a sick sci-fi movie since its based in 2521 or somewhere around there. Also it would attract millions of fanboys and bring the long lost nerds out of their moms basement to go see it.
Metroid is just..........................gay
