It would show each of them the true path of individual choice, rather than conforming to MTV's TRL pop-culture being rammed down the throats of innocent youth. Metal RULES!! MTV should be destroyed!!

The theory that "classical music makes people smarter" is untrue. Also known as the "Mozart Effect" all it proves is that short term spatio-temporal reasoning was increased (we're talking for 15 minutes tops here) Not enough to make a baby "smarter" purely by listening to music. Do I advocate music listening? Yes, but it only makes you smarter IN MUSIC if you are critically listening to it (i.e. it's not in the background, you are actually concentrating and analysing the music as it plays. Babies cannot do this.) Music listening as an infant helps them be better at music, due to their greater listening experiences, but it isn't enough to make up a difference in aptitude.

That said, heavy metal might make the baby cry if you play it too loud! It's also quite agressive, so it might make the child a little excited and energetic.
