Some people yell "sellout" at any band who makes it big. It's called professional jealousy. Green Day has done pretty good for themselves, and other bands who started out at the same time they did and didn't make it big whine about it.

Some people think that once a band gets on a major label and sells records, they've "sold out." I tell you what, making it big beats the h### out of driving around the country in a half-broken-down van with four other guys who haven't had a shower in two days and eating McDonald's twice a day if you can scrape together the change.

I think it's because they changed their genre with their cd's. But i still love them. I think they still sound the same. I mean they sound older, yet still the same.
