Yes. You suddenly have a lot of extra cash, which you can invest so that you don't have to work the rest of your life, especially when you are young enough to party. You have plenty of free time to carefully plan out all the great things you will do when you no longer have arthritis and you can replace that metal hip with a real one. As time goes by, your memory improves. You could smoke and drink all you want, because you just beat cancer. You get a divorce, and spend the next 40 years living in sin, until it's time for you to go to school, where you will be a genius since you already experienced and learned everything. You will notice that you can now eat all you want yet not gain any weight. When you turn 18, some nice people will adopt you and you never have to worry about anything. They will feed and clothe you, and one day they will even put a diaper on you, so you don't have to get up to use the toilet, and you never even have to get out of bed. Then one day you just close your eyes, and painlessly drift off into a state of complete serenity. The final year of your life will all be a blur and go by in a flash while you nibble on some hot young girl's nipples.

no.
first you are born old, wrinkled, hairy, and ugly.
10 years old- old, wrinked, and hairy, but looking better
20- still old, wrinkled, and hairy
30-etc. etc.
40-your hair starts to grow color and your wrinkes aren't so bad
50-your hair is becoming mildly gray. wrinkles start to disappear, you get stronger
60- your hair is nearly in full color. wrinkles is hardly existent. your fertility is "restored". you get yet stronger.
70- young-looking, in your prime, etc.
80- (hubba hubba) you are at your best looking. However, you begin to shrink
90- you shrink some more, develop an immature attitude, become afraid of girls, and develop a large curiosity about things. Hormones and fertlity cease. you get noticably weaker and stupider
94-99- you continue to shrink, get weaker and stupider, kiddy, etc. eventually, you lose the ability to walk and eat sloppily. someday, you will require a younger person to take care of you
100- you will start to "devolve". you will start to look very small and veiny and deformed. as time pass, you will get smaller and more deformed. eventually, by your 101th birthday, you will be reduced to a sperm and then disappear into oblivion.
Now you know why.

Yes because if your old to a child then there will be light at the end of the tunnel instead of the beginning. It's something to look forward to instead of the light fading away. It's like summer going away instead of coming because the favorite of most people is summer.

It would mean in financial terms that by the time you could afford a convertible you wouldn't look daft in it, with comb overs flapping and bifocals resting on jowls.
