the easiest way to do this is minimize everything running so that all you see is the desktop (icons on the screen)
right click anywhere on the desktop (not on an icon) and a grey panel will appear. drag cursor down to read properties. a window reading 'display properties' will appear. click on the tab that reads 'settings' an image that looks like a monitor will appear. there will be a slide indicator that reads 'screen resolution' you can adjust to the software specifications. normally, you might be prompted 'do you want to keep this setting?' click yes if you want the software to work. NOTE: you might need to reboot computer for it to take effect. don't worry the computer will let you know if it needs it or not. once done, you can play with the camera

I'm not exactly sure about windows 98, but look around your Control Panel for something that says "Appearance and Themes" and then Screen Resolution - there you should be able to change the setting of your computer. The resolution of your computer may already be set to that number - so then you won't have to change it. Sorry I can't be exact. I used to have windows 98 on my old computer, but now I have XP... don't be afraid to just look around in your control panel, though! Good luck!

Try this:
Right click on your computer's desktop and select the properties open. When you hit properties click select the settings Tab and from here you should be able to change your Screen Resolution.
I hope this helps!

It is saying that your monitors resolution is not high enough to run the photo-viewer software. Try right-clicking your desktop (place with your trash can on it, and program logos) then go to "properties" then to "settings" then change your "screen resolution" to 800x600.

go to the control panel its in your start bar then open it then go to display then click 800x600
then click accept
that should get you to that mode then you should change back
it has to do with your screens viewing area
