Can I have examples please? Do you have to be good at math and/or science and which one is more part of the job?

Both math and science...

You need to understand biochemistry. You need to understand how certain medications control reactions within the human body. You also need to be able to dilute or compound medications. It is a multidisiplinary occupation. It is a full-time program for 5 years at most universities that offer it as a degree.

More science, I would say, but some math is important, too. You pretty much have to know the names of all the drugs and what they do. The education is very science intensive. Biology, chemistry, anatomy, etc. A licensed pharmacist has almost as much education as a medical doctor. Try working as a pharmacy technician, and see if you like it before committing to five or six years of college.

attempt getting a job as a pharmacy tech for the summer or at the same time as a component time pastime, many pharmacies employ highschoolers. i'm a CPhT (qualified Pharmacy Technician) and that i like it a lot yet an outstanding form of pharmacists surely do compared to their pastime, yet so do many police officials and legal professionals ect ect. college is 6 years lengthy and also you'll make everywhere from 70-120,000 searching on the position you artwork and how a lot responsibility you opt for. solid success!

We have to be good at a whole lot more things than math or science. In short we need to know everything related to drugs.
