Riding next to those concrete barriers in construction zones?

Sometimes....I drive a truck for a living and it can get a bit tight sometimes for a rig that size. I have found the interstates and expressways going through Chicago are insane. The 'regular' truck drivers there are crazy, and are doin' like 80-90 mph...3 wide on a road which is confined by those barriers. Oh well...such is the nature of the job !!

I do. What sucks is that down town here, there is a good stretch of interstate that has seemingly less than a foot between the middle line and the center wall...if you watch it, you can see tire marks and paint where people bump it!

If anything should scare the crap out of a person, that should. It really freaks me out - almost as much as driving on a 2 lane bridge over a huge body of water. I could drown if the car went over!

Yes, I'm an anxious driver even under normal circumstances, but those make me really nervous!

I hate them too....I'm always afraid I'm too close to the damn things and I will scrape up the side of my brand new Acura. Geez....if that happened my old man would kill me!

Oh yeah...they totally twitch me out. Don't you feel like you are going to scrape up your car something fierce?
