Overall history? Sure, since many people in power felt that LGBT were somehow "sick", which is why, for example, very little of Sappho's poetry exists

BEING GAY AND WITH SOME AGE, I THINK I CAN ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. TILL RECENT TIMES, SAY SINCE THE SIXTIES, PEOPLE KNEW IT, BUT IT WASN'T DISCUSSED. THEN THE SIXTIES CAME ALONG WITH FREE LOVE.
IN PAST HISTORICAL WAYS YES IT HAS BEEN UNDER REPORTED. WHAT THEY FAILED TO TELL YA ABOUT THE BLACK MAN THAT CREATED PEANUT BUTTER IN HIGH SCHOOL, WAS HE WAS ALSO GAY. SO WE'RE MANY OF HISTORIES MOST FAMOUS PEOPLE.
IN ANCIENT ROME, IT WAS CONSIDERED A GIFT IF YOU WERE BISEXUAL, AND YOU WERE GIVEN THE BEST THAT THE GOVERNMENT COULD OFFER, IN THE WAY OF HOUSING, FOOD, ECT.
IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT WE'VE COME A LONG WAY EVEN THOUGH WE STILL DO NOT SHARE THE RIGHTS OF STRAIGHT PEOPLE. WHEN I GREW UP AND WATCHED THE EVENING NEWS, YOU HAD TO WAIT THREE MINUTES FOR THE TUBES IN THE TELEVISION SET TO HEAT UP BEFORE GETTING THE PICTURE ON, THEN IF IT HAD STORMED THE NIGHT BEFORE, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GO OUT AN WIGGLE THE ANTENNA TO GET A BETTER RECEPTION. I NEVER HEARD THE WORD GAY ON A TELEVISION BACK THEN IS WHAT I'M GETTING AT. IT WAS A LEAVE IT TO BEAVER WORLD BACK THEN, THEY ALSO DIDN'T PRIZE BLACK PEOPLE ON THE TELEVISION BACK THEN...... MY HOW FAR WE'VE COME.........

Heey, you remind me of my chick friend, Maddie.
GLTBQSIA history seems to somewhat be commonly replaced or slipped out of an important file somewhere.
The current reports have a lot of information these days, though. There are way more supporters now than ever before.

i totally think so!!!!
i mean if there is 10% percent out there..
there were defenitly too many incidents in history that were not reported, that's one thing, another thing, i believe there were too many love stories that we will never know about, coz in the past that was a hidous thing, it was all happening but under cover!!!
and till today in certain parts of the world, it's still happening, but nobody aknowledges it!!!!

I'm sorry, but No. Even though I think that people should be who they want to be, and I support your choice and everyone else choice to be gay, I don't care about the History of Gay and Lesbians. This is a heterosexual society, and society does not really want to know about the history of Gays and Lesbians. It is bad enough that I turn on the television and see 2 men or 2 women making out, I don't need a history lesson too.

Yes. I'm bi and I don't know anything about it. I've always wondered about it, especially among claims that Shakespeare and other famous people may have been gay. Maybe you could start your own book about it? Who knows, it might take off! :-)

When you report on it, don't forget to mention the average life span in the lbgt community.

Not at all...
Just waiting for someone to serve society or do something worth recording.

yes... and for good reason. You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Gay pride is the greatest oxymoron ever.
