What is the name of the guy who painted on PBS in the 70s and 80s, had an afro (even though he was totally white) and was known for being super nice, but a little odd?

The great and wonderful Bob Ross. His son tried to take over his show for a short time, but never could do what his dad did. I used to dream about Happy little trees, when I was growing up. Boy do I miss that show

He is still on occaisionally. His name is Bob Ross. His showe was called "The Joy of Painting." He passed away on July 4, 1995. His is up there with the "happy clouds."

Bob Ross. He has painting instructional kits at Michael's Arts and Crafts stores, books, brushes, etc. He has really done a good marketing program for himself.
