I have a assignment due tomorrow and i don't have time to read the book to identify the author's point of view, his/her attitude toward the subject or issues being presented and his/her purpose.... can anyone help me do this assignment?

I don't think that's possible.....especially if we don't even know what book you're talking about.

Edit: If it can be on any book, I recommend you go to the nearest library and find the shortest book possible, and read it. If it's due tomorrow, you can get it done tonight.

First you didn't even tell us about what books you are doing the report on. Maybe there are some cliff notes for the book, they are sold at local book stores and really come in handy but read the whole book because the teachers love to ask question about the book you have read but not all answers are in the cliff notes.
