My husband is spending ANOTHER one of his birthdays in Iraq and I want to get or do something special for him and have NO ideas. Does anyone have any good ideas? He really doesn't need anything considering where he is but I still want to make him feel special on his day. I have a couple months to think or get something together so time is not an issue.

As you know, care packages are heaven to them.....so start collecting everyting that he is allowed to have there and get that ready for the birthday package.
To make him feel special, especially to you, when you know those guys are out there not only fighting for their lives but wondering what is going on back home. I would find a professional photographer, put on one of his fav dresses or buy something you know he'll love to see you in when he gets home. Send him those pics. He'll know it's just for him.....and that means more to husbands and bf's out there right now than you would know.
In addition, maybe go around yourself and take pictures of the places you two have spent special times at. Send the pics individually in envelopes with your memories written on a lovely piece of stationery scented with his fav perfume.

Write him in your own writting.My hubby will aslo be In Iraq for his b-day this year.Send him some home made Cookies.Hand made Gift card.Take pictures,and send them to him.Have some of his Family send you a small greeting or letter for him,so you can send it to him,and remind him how loved he is.

My honey is a contractor in Iraq, I find he likes food products he can't get there, sexy pictures of me and cards lots and lots of cards. I see that he gets one everyday. No one knows your man like you so use your imagination. Make him feel special everyday but try the pics.

A really special gift that you had gotten from you mother, father, brother, etc. Or if you have none of those get him a gun.

Well let me tell ya it is hard to do anything ----------I know as I am in Iraq------the best thing is sending cookies and cards and letting him know just how much you care----you can show him when he gets home.

go to a photographer and have some tastefull nude pictures of you taken and send them to him. (we are going for playboy here not nude porn star)
