Do you really think a pot head is going to go threw the trouble of getting, keeping and rolling his own if he can just pick up a pack at the gas station?

I dont have any clue what a pot head would or wouldn't do and could never try to imagine. But in a business sense which I do understand they would make a publicly sold product as weak as possible to create more buying so I would guess some pot heads currently indulging would not go for the weak stuff.. It would be the newbies that would go light... but like I said that is conjecture.

you know pip with the way life is today most people don't have time to go through that trouble....in big cities i mean. However I live in a farm town, every one here grows lots of stuff =). Now if what your saying is that pot heads would not go through the trouble of growing rolling there own i would say you are right. Except, only those with money would do that. I think the less financially fortunate would in fact grow their own to save money and such. I do think the government would make a killing off this product seeing as how I'm sure there more than enough people that would invest in it, although i don't really approve of it, i do feel it is a lot safer than alcohol which has nothing to with your question. Anyways to answer your question i would say Yes, most of them, if they had the money would choose the convieniance

companies can and will make money off the legalization of cannabis. tobacco companies lobby against the legalization for reasons unknown by me. you would think they would be down, i mean they already have the land and the equipment to harvest, package, and distribute legal cannabis. the cotton industry and all the billions of dollars that are spent on the war on drugs stand to loose the most. hemp would compete so heavily against cotton and logging. i think that would be a good thing. many do not. i guess having a native (yes it has always grown and will always grow naturally in the US) crop that regrows as quickly as hemp seems crazy. not to me though!

PIP, it's not "companies" that we have to be concerned about making money, it's the US Government! That is why 'sh*it' isn't legal because they have no way to regulate it. Remember "prohibition"?? Guess not.

If Uncle Sam could get a buck on every joint I bet you they would be growin' their own. THAT is the reason. Why do we keep making cigarettes? Because the gov't gets tax money, that's why!!!

Now, go to a local school and eat lunch there. Bet you too that the lunch is loaded with grease, sugar and "god knows what". You want to get excited about something, why not health and nutrition of our younguns'??? And that shi*t is legal!!!

Dude, you need to examine your priorities. Godloveya.

Depends on the user. Some like smoking joints, some like pipes or waterpipes. If it gets legalized, I hope the laws on intoxicated driving keep up with the situation..
