Yes it would effect your baby, you should have him smoke outside or quite. your baby could end up having things wrong with his health.

I don't know about the shots but second hand smoke is definitely dangerous! Do not let him smoke around the baby or while you are pregnant. And make him wash his hands and change his clothes before he holds the baby.

Children born to smokers (mother or fatheer) have a higher risk of respiratory problems. If you had to have shots (you do not say what they were for) your child may inherit the same problems.

The best thing is for him to quit. You can check out the Canadian Cancer Society for tips on quitting (www.cancer.ca).

If that is not realistic, ban smoking from any indoor area as well as the car. And when he goes outside for a smoke, do not go with him.

As others have said it is damaging to your baby - time to make the man smoke outside and away from you!

Tell him to not smoke around you anymore. Second-hand is just as bad if not WORSE than smoking yourself.

2nd hand smoke is just as bad as first hand smoke. About the shots, you'd prbably need to talk to your doctor.

2nd hand smoke is worse cuz its the carbon monoxide left over from the tobacco that you are inhaling. Stay away from him and his clothes as well.

you would be better to ask your GP, but i do know that the smoke that burns from the end of the cigarette (not the inhaled smoke) is the worst as it is not filtered
