Is it me or do you envy some of the other home nations? Admittedly we have the legend that is Gerrard, but players like Healy, Doyle and Bale, you just can't help but admire?! Well done lads.

And yes Argentina are going to be quality (well, even more so!) Aguero is looking amazing.
And I'm not necessarily referring to these players raw talent, but the passion they show is great when compared to our excuse for a team. They really try.

its not the talent that i admire cause obviously we got plenty but the heart and the passion that those "talents" seem to lack for england. so yes i am a bit jealous of the other home nations and would give my right arm for the england players to have half the passion the players on the other squads have.

I think the standard of English football is at an all-time low if you're describing Gerrard as a 'legend'.

I'm American.... OUR TEAM SUCKS! You have nothing, I repeat NOTHING!, to be complaining about. Sure, Kasey Keller's pretty good but man, most of the others should find another job. Czech Republic totally deserved to get farther in the WC, Ghana got lucky because of all their injuries. England is soooo good as well!!!! I think Brazil has enough cups under their belt, give someone else a chance! But yes, they rock. Be thankful for your team.

Yea you do have to admire them. Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales are all small nations but they sure put up a good fight and they are a heck of a lot better than some would think them to be. Great job to these teams tonight.
And great job to England :)
EDIT: Shoot, I forgot about Scotland! I was really pulling for them to win tonight. Better luck next time to the boys!

I admire Spain alright... Just look at all that young talent coming through. They will get their first world cup in 2010 for sure.

fans ..three speeds.. slow ,slow and can you score please....is it to much money no .they haven't got a clue what to do ,,,spend some time with your team mates get to know them ...don't just turn up .get a cap and try to be the only person on the pitch..team work it is what England was built on ..work with each other and be proud...don't believe in the hype ..England needs players and gents ..x i love the game and i am proud so keep it up xxx England real people are behind you ........

Gerrard a legend. Come on. He ain`t no Ronaldhino, Henry, Ronaldo, Kaka etc. He is just an average English player who is overated by the English press.
