The skin goes red immediately after, (partly due to the hotwax), and on me as i have fairly sensitive skin, usually stays red for maybe 2 hrs or so, but were not talking v red, more lightly pinkish (looks v like eyeshadown actually lol). I do find waxing sorts out the shape well and then for the next month or so its just a qu of plucking the hairs every day or two as they start to come back on (i find they come bck in after about 2 days, but usually only one or two at a time each day until about 6 weeks after). I usually get mine waxed every 2 months, as this when quite a lot of hairs are coming bck in and uness ure on top of it the shaoe starts looking abit tacky so i have it redone as id be hopeless with the shape when plucking myself without a base to work from.
It hurt the first time i had it done, and was a bit of a shock, but now i find it virtually painless, to be honest it just a bit of a sting when initially ripped off nothing major!! and most salons put on soothing lotions straight after which numbs all stinging and soreness entirely.
Have been reading about it eventually weakening the skin and making it saggy, as a layer of skin is ripped off each time u have them waxed along with the hairs and as the skin bove your eyes is v delicate is can get damaged. Now dont know how true this is but its been mentioned on a few websites. Threading is sposed to be v good to, thts removng hairs using thread, and is sposed to be painless virtually and with no marks at all. Not as commonly done tho, i cant find a salon near me that does it......so at the mo sticking with waxing!!

some people get red marks, some dont but it doesnt last long, generally about 15 mins or so, but make sure the beautician applies after wax lotion as it does ease it

Depending on how sensitive your skin is, there will be a little redness but not much. Just make sure you don't go to just anybody, do a little research, because every nail salon can't wax.

Yeah a little maybe but it really doesnt last very long when I have mine done and it is worth it. I tend to wear pinkish colour eye shadow when I get mine done then no one can tell they are red anyway. Good luck.

Yes you will, but it will go away very shortly. Have a professional do it to ensure proper shaping
