Take another test. It could be positive, it could be an evaporated line. Only way to know, is to take another test.

Ok, I know lots of people talk about evaporation lines, but I, personally, have NEVER had one on the tests I use. In fact, I tend to put my tests in plastic ziplock-type bags before i throw them out (I don't figure the trash guy wants to be handling something I peed on either), and I've seen negatives that days later were STILL negative.
However, I did have a similar experience with this pregnancy. There was not yet enough HCG to get a positive within the time frame, but I got a faint line outside the time frame. I am pregnant with twins, and my home tests weren't positive within the time frame until I was about six weeks pregnant--with my son, I was eight or nine weeks.
You can do one of two things--wait a few days and take another test with first morning urine, or go to the doctor and ask them for a test. I would suggest waiting a few days before contacting the doctor--sometimes, their tests aren't any more reliable than home tests, and they'll rarely do a blood test unless you're a month or more late, or TTC.
Good luck!!

There should be a time frame listed on the test instructions (3 to 5 minutes or so) for reading the results. If you read the test 1/2 an hour later or more, you will not get a reliable result. Take the test, read it in the given time frame, then throw the test away and do not look at it again (as tempting as that may be). Sounds like you are not pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate because it may take time for enough hormones to build up in your urine for the test to be positive. The only way to know for sure is to go to the doctor or your local free clinic and get a blood test or wait a few more days and take the test again. You can have a negative reading and still be pregnant if you have just recently conceived.

go to the doctors and here is some infor that might help
SIGNS YOU MAY BE WITH CHILD
1. Tender breasts: Many women report increased sensitivity, fullness, or heaviness within a few days. By two weeks after conception, your areolas (the pinkish or brown skin surrounding the nipples) may start to enlarge.
2. Spotting: Scantier than a period and sometimes mixed with a yellowish discharge, a small amount of bleeding may occur when the developing egg implants itself in your uterine wall.
3. Fatigue: Can't keep awake at work? If you feel tired even after a good night's sleep, your body may be going through the changes of early pregnancy.
4. Nausea: Don't think of it as "morning sickness," since it can strike at any time of the day or night. It might feel like a slight case of seasickness or a full-fledged stomach virus -- or you may not experience it at all.
5. Bloating: Many women mistake this early sign of pregnancy for PMS; the tip-off may come when your period doesn't arrive.
6. Increased urination: You may need to go to the bathroom more than usual, a symptom that will return in spades during your last trimester.
7. Stretching of pelvic ligaments: During the course of a normal pregnancy, the uterus will grow to about 1,000 times its prepregnant size (imagine a pear turning into a basketball). Some women feel their pelvic ligaments stretching to make room for this growth to occur.
8. Food cravings: If you suddenly find yourself ravenous for citrus fruits, red meat (even if you're a vegetarian), or potato chips, don't assume it's all in your head. Pregnant bodies may crave increased amounts of vitamin C, iron, and salt -- among other things -- even from the very beginning.

you should be utilising your first urine of the day with being pregnant exams. Its extra focused and extra in all probability to take place. besides the undeniable fact that, it does sound like your attempt grow to be detrimental. A faint line, a very nearly invisible line is oftentimes an evaporation line. until there is noticable pink interior the line, its no longer an outstanding. It additionally should be examine interior the time shrink (thats their way of averting the perplexing by using fact the attempt is oftentimes nonetheless moist in that factor shrink and an evap line wouldnt' be seen). it could particularly take better than a week for provera to reason your era, maximum women folk gets it interior 15 days of combating. i be attentive to it took me 5 days once I took it to commence a era, and once I took it to provide up a era, it got here lower back in the previous I had finished the pills. It relies upon on a great form of issues. Provera might reason extra PMS indicators than you're used to. while its been 15 days for the reason which you stopped the pills, circulate lower back for a blood attempt (assuming urine exams are detrimental). If a blood attempt is detrimental, you particularly are not pregnant and can persist with up with your wellbeing practitioner approximately what to do.

You shouldn't judge a test after 10 minutes it's too old, try another test because if it's positive it will show up in the time allowed mainly right away or 3 minutes. But if you are pregnant it will show up right away and have a faint or very dark line.

you shouldn't read a pregnancy test after the recommended time frame. you should read the directions. that line you see is called an evaporation line. you should always throw the test away after the time is up so that you don't get confused. i would suggest you get another test and follow the instructions so that way you don't have to question the results again. good luck.

Try taking another one in a few days and see what the result is. I wouldn't trust one that showed a faint positive 30 min later though.

Pregnancy tests are meant to be read with in a specified period of time, I am not positive but I think its like 10-15 minutes, it should be in the directions. I would suggest waiting a few days and retesting and see what comes up then.

Most likely that was an evaporation line, I would wait a day and test again, but really test results should not be read after 10 minutes because of the evap line issue.
