The criticism is that this administration is butchering the Constitution.

The Constitution is what Dictator Dumbya is trying to trash. As to whether an armed struggle against say a Dumbya attempt to remain in office after the scheduled leaving would be a check against such a power grab is problematic in the face of modern weapons which would be used against such a struggle. I think the new Congress is fortunately somewhat performing its duty to be a check on any Dumbya power grab.
If we have HONEST elections again, we MIGHT YET cheat the hangman.

I think an armed revolution is unlikely in this country. Unfortunately, I also think that too many gun lovers in this country are just too stupid. I hear too many stories of children killing themselves with guns, or peopel shooting at figures in the darkness that turn out to be family members. However, I'm still undecided as to how I feel about people being allowed to own guns. No doubt this country has quite a bit of crime, and I've been in dangerous situations myself. I might consider having a gun, but with a child living in my house, I really don't know how that would work.

and you can't eliminate tyhe rights granted under the constitution unless you let them be taken from you for no other reason than to "protect" america from terrorists.
in case you haven't understood anything, the republicans who passed it NEVER BOITHERED TO READ IT BECAUSE IT WAS CLASSIFIED BY THE WHITE HOUSE AND WAS NOT TO BE READ BY ANYONE OUTSIDE THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT. CONGRESS WAS NOT GIVEN A COMPLETE VERSION AND HAS NEVER BEEN GIVEN A FULL VERSION AFTER IT WAS PASSED.
it contains provisions which eliminate and criminalize almost everything the constitution guarantees under the bill of rights. if you doubt it, read it from front to back. all you have to do is find the illegally published web version if you can find it.
the actual act is still classified and many of it's provisions are still in force.

clearly since the 1st amendment is completely irrelevant with state run TV, magazine and newspapers. All you got left is the second amendment if you have a strong need to correct an out of control government.

I agree. However, the administration rails against the constitution on a regular basis.

Hey, don't assume all liberals don't support the 2nd amendment. I support the whole Constitution, not part of it. I am proud to be a lawful gun owner and I am ready to use it in defense of myself and others.

Noone is contesting the right to a well regimented militia. It is necessary. We're just asking for justification for a four year old war.
