Lay back, relax.... what do you enjoy doing most? Would be great if you can find a job you enjoy doing, so much in life comes to job satisfaction. I was up, against a brick wall some years ago, total dead end job, but it paid the mortgage, did not like at all...security job. Sat back, what would I enjoy doing ...list of jobs. What can I get myself qualified for as I sit here with time to burn...bored out of my skull. Got myself qualified as an Analyst Programmer by correspondence course, 3 yrs later, goodbye security...hello IT... at age 55.

Ask yourself what aspects of your current job you like and which you most dislike and look for a job with more of the former. We can't all have a job that we love all of the time but maximising what we like doing is key to job satisfaction. Also think about how much you really need to earn and then make sure that the salary covers this.
If you have no idea about what you want to do or what you like then try a job with a lot of variety or a temp position so that you can get out of it if you don't like it.

Don't leave your job before you get another. Job centre, newspapers, the internet and agencies will all help you!!
